Louis XVI-style painted and parcel-gilt medallion-back armchair. Newly reupholstered in green velvet; seat has been fitted with new batting. Tapered fluted legs with gilt rosette accents. Carved and upholstered arms. Medallion back is surmounted by a carved and gilt bouquet of flowers. Seat: 19"H. Arms: 27.5"H. Provenance: Plaza Hotel, New York, later in a private collection.
