Prohibition Era Fireplace Mantel with Secret Dry Bar Compartment
Unique piece dating back to the Prohibition Era. This rosewood fireplace mantel is hand-painted and decorated in an essential Art Deco style. The mantel front opens revealing a hidden compartment that can accommodate a dry bar. The sides of the mantel are also hallow and can accommodate bottles. The hearth is painted Pompeii red.
Measures: 43x50x11. Good condition with minor chips and paint loss consistent with age.
